If you’d like to apply to purchase one of our rats, here’s where to do it! If you haven’t had rats before, or even if you have, make sure you do your research. There is so much great information out there on keeping rats - and if you’re on this page it’s time to get acquainted. We like to see our rats go to good homes, so here are a few things to think about.

Purchase Process

Timeline:

  • Week 1: Babies are born - hooray!

  • Week 1-4: Pictures are posted to our site and instagram

  • Week 4: Applications open

  • Week 5: Applications close and homes are notified

  • Week 7-8: Babies go to their new homes

There is no wait list. We open applications for each litter.

Rats are $30 each and go home in same-sex pairs and trios. Pickup is at our home in Chicago, IL. If you are updated on your COVID-19 vaccination, pick up is in the living room of our home. If not, please let us know and we will do an outdoor pick up on the back patio.
