Wasn’t planning on keeping a boy from Elvis’s litter, but here is is! He was at the front of the cage every time and just wants to crawl into your hands and hang out. And look at that face - who could blame me? : )
MELI Walter
DOB: 1/10/2022
Walter is a sweetheart! He always looks a little surprised, and has been a big explorer during free roam. He carries both mink and Russian blue, so hoping to pass all his wonderful qualities into future rats : )
MELI Zeno
Type: Black self standard
Carries: Black Eyed Siamese, possibly Russian Blue or Mink
DOB: 2/28/2021
Nicknames: Zeeeeenooo, Z
Zeno is confident and fun. He has almost no white markings at all (just a couple front toes) and a nice deep black coat. He’s big on social grooming, and will happily trade scratches for manicuring.

Kermit is a BIG BOY and a sweet heart. He comes to us from Democrattery here in Chicago. We’re excited to watch him grow and have him add his excellent type and character to our line.
MELI Clyde

Nicknames: Clyde Frog
Clyde is a nice laid back boy. He enjoys cheek scratches and eating puffs. He is king of the “staring at you through the cage bars because you are here but don’t seem to be picking me up” method of attention getting.
SGR Frank Zappa
Type: Black Mismarked Self Standard
Carries: Russian Blue, possibly Mink
DOB: 3/29/2019
Nicknames: Zap, ZipZap
We decided to name Zappa after rocker Frank Zappa before we ever met him, and boy did we pick the right name. Zappa is tons of fun, especially for a boy. He’s more lively than some boy rats, but still enjoys a good hammock nap and scratch behind the ears.

DOB: 2/4/2019
Simon is a true boy rat - calm, laid back, and super sweet. He loves to be handled and will hang out on your shoulder as long as he can. Picking him up out of his cage is like picking up a happy, limp potato. Simon’s only mismarking is a couple of while toes!
Simon was a good good boy. We miss him dearly.
